We are looking for experienced technical writer who could join our product engineering team to produce high-quality documentation for internal and external audience. You will work collaboratively with developers, quality engineers, product managers, and quality audit analysts to make our products easier to use and comply with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities

• Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
• Prepare, review, revise, and maintain technical documents, including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, audit documentation.
• Gather and analyze technical and product information from various sources to document new or changing product functionality.
• Assist in planning, scheduling, and tracking product development documentation work to meet product release dates and deliverables \xe2\x80\x93 hotfixes, patch sets, service packs, minor and major.
• Deliver product release/update specific documentation \xe2\x80\x93 recent changes, feature enhancements, or bug fixes, test results, release notes etc.
• Create new hire onboarding materials with easy-to-understand user interface text, help and guides.
• Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
• Responsible for continuously editing and revising the content.
• Collaborate with technical leadership, QA engineers and developers.
• Quickly learn the technical aspects and maintain an in-depth knowledge of ValGenesis\xe2\x80\x99s products and SDLC processes.

• Create and maintain the information architecture.

Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferably in IT/computer science.
• 3 to 10 years of experience in technical writing for product development organizations.
• Strong experience owning an end to end documentation creation process.
• Strong written, editing and communication skills in English.
• Experience working with stakeholders to document the nuts & bolts of product development lifecycle.
• Excellent attention-to-detail and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
• Experience working with: Confluence/Jira, Devops, Git & GitHub, HTML, CSS, Jinja, Python etc.
• Proficiency in word processor programs such as Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat.
• Experience with software development or software QA in product development lifecycle.
• Experience working with Agile/Scrum software development teams.
• Preferable experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) for life sciences industry as an end user or tester/QA.
