We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer In this role, you will: Design, Develop & Implement front end and back end features as per backlog/priority Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features Proactively work with internal customers to resolve their issues and respond to feature requests BuildAPIs and micro-services that solve impactful business problems Work in an agileCI/CDenvironment to deliver rapid iterations at a sustained velocity Support teams socializing theirAPIs on theInternalAPIDeveloper Portal Able to trouble shoot applications and provide fixes on identified defects Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc. Requirements To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements: Proficiency with fundamental front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript, ReactJS and Angular. DevOps practices (Git, Git Flow and/or GitHub Flow) Crafting good UI/UX using modern design systems Fluency in JavaScript ES6. Data visualization using JavaScript D3 or similar library Fluency in HTML 5 and CSS/SCSS/LESS Conceptual understanding of Reactive UI frameworks Strong understanding of concepts such as Responsive design, Cross-origin resource sharing (CORS) Cross-Browser Compatibility Accessibility Understanding of UI Concepts : UI development principles Understanding of Performance Optimization and Trouble shooting of applications through logging and monitoring. Must be comfortable prototyping approach iteratively Design, Build, Test, Understand server-side CSS. Be experienced with graphic design applications (e.g., Adobe Illustrator) Spring/Angular Understand the principles of SEO You\'ll achieve more when you join HSBC.
