As a Senior Software Engineer, you will work in a SAFe Agile environment to deliver and build the next generation EdTech platform. You will be developing and maintaining micro-services that provide the foundation for t e aching and learning core capabilities and features. A successful candidate must be comfortable with complex software development projects and be an innovative thinker capable of communicating multi-faceted technical concepts. As a direct contributor, the candidate must have a track record of achieving goals and meeting deadlines on multi-team projects, and the ability to work in a dynamic , fast-paced environment with evolving requirements. In addition to developing software, the ideal candidate can troubleshoot problems and support our production environments. We are looking for a candidate with strong backend skills and with a willingness to expand and grow their skillset. This engineer will be working in a serverless environment on the AWS platform and should have a strong desire to learn as technologies evolve. The Candidate Required skills/qualifications: At least 6 years of experience in product development Passion for software development (Python, Node.js) Experience implementing Web Services (REST API) using Domain Driven Design and service-oriented architecture Experience building in large-scale AWS environments Experience with AWS serverless services (such as Lambda, DynamoDB, Event Bridge , ECS Fargate , etc. ) Experience with git (GitHub), test driven development, and CI/CD lifecycles Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences in a global environment Preferred Skills/qualifications Experience with infrastructure as code such as CDK (preferred), CloudFormation, or Terraform The Office We have an office in one of the biggest cultural, economic, and educational centers in South India: Chennai.
