Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our Legal Solutions team. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth business knowledge and expertise in understanding and analyzing data. The primary responsibility is to expand and optimize our Business Intelligence capabilities. This technical, hands-on role requires a creative and passionate individual who excels at building targeted dashboards. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to organize, analyze, and interpret large datasets are essential for success in this position.
Job Responsibilities• Prepare Power BI Dashboards. Create and maintain Power BI Deployment pipelines.
• Collecting requirements through standard techniques like document analysis, focus groups, workshops.
• Documenting and Maintaining business requirements using appropriate documentation standards.
• Assess and understand data from a variety of corporate data sources and perform required transformations in Power BI query editor.
• Data modelling capabilities including designing effective BI data models in line with the Kimble methodology and CDM.
• Developing calculations in DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets.
• Designing effective layouts using themes and report grids, working closely with our UX design team.
• Utilizing the navigation features in Power BI (e.g. bookmarks, drill-throughs) to guide readers through a compelling data-driven story.
• Continuously evolve by learning new areas of Power BI including Fabrics and CoPilot.
• Own complete end to end delivery of Business Intelligence projects.
• Overlap with US East Coast Hours as per business need.
Required Skills• Bachelors / master's degree in information or computer science required - B.E./ B.Tech in Computer Science or similar background, MCA,.
• 7 to 10 years of relevant experience as a Business Intelligence developer using Power BI, Snowflake, SQL.
• Should be creative and passionate about building dashboards that serves the purpose based on the target audience.
• Proficiency on DAX functions,
• Sound understanding of Data & Data problems.
• Should be able to write complex SQL Queries including creating and working on complex views.
• Exposure on Microsoft Fabrics and CoPilot.
• Exposure to Tableau and other BI tools is added advantage to create similar experience for transitioning users.
• Experience working in Agile - Scrum methodology and adhering to best practices.
Preferred Skills:• Experience with Microsoft Azure Ecosystem (Azure Cloud, Azure DevOps, Azure Data Factory...) is a plus.
• Background with Datawarehouse, ETL Process
• Have worked on Dashboards with data from Purview, SAP, Salesforce, Pulse,...
• Understanding Legal Tech Domain.
• If you have worked on Purview, MPARR, Log Analytics Workspace.
• Experience on PowerShell scripting
