Position: Senior Software Engineer, Solution Architect - Salesforce

Location: Hyderabad, India

Position Summary

The Enterprise Salesforce Solution Architect acts as a dedicated resource to product teams during the design and development of Salesforce based solutions supporting BMS. The SA actively communicates to ensure consistent patterns and best practices are applied and available to evaluate design options and provide appropriate guidance.

The Solution Architect reports directly to the Delivery Manager and collaborates with the Demand and Engineering Managers to align on level of effort and resource forecasting activities.

Key Responsibilities

Partner internally and externally to understand requirements and collaborate to align solution functional with technical design.

Create/Assist with POCs for stakeholders such that the proposed solution is clearly understood.

Design and enhance solution architecture and assist product teams shape product vision and roadmaps.

Update SDLC System Design and Solution Architecture documentation

Work in a consultative fashion to improve communication, collaboration, and alignment inside and outside of the BMS Enterprise Salesforce service.

Assist troubleshooting activities for critical issues

Stay current on Salesforce releases, new features, product roadmaps

Stay current on \xe2\x80\x9cSalesforce eco-system\xe2\x80\x9d solution components App Exchange, Flosum, OwnBackup etc.

Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent.

8 to 10 plus years of experience with full Salesforce implementation (Health Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud preferred).

Lead and manage the technical design and architecture of Salesforce solutions.

Work with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical designs and solutions.

Develop and implement custom Salesforce solutions that meet business needs and requirements.

Lead and participate in technical design and code reviews to ensure quality and maintainability of solutions.

Collaborate with technical and business teams to identify and troubleshoot issues and resolve them in a timely manner.

Manage and oversee the delivery of Salesforce solutions by third-party vendors and contractors.

Strong technical skills in Salesforce development, including Salesforce LWC, Aura, Apex, Visualforce, SOQL, and SOSL.

Experience with Salesforce projects that involve integration and data migration activities as part of project scope.

Strong ability in documenting proposed current and future state in terms of solution architecture, functional/technical specifications, data integration and data migration solution design.

Experience in Dev Ops for CI/CD using Flosum.

Strong understanding of Salesforce security features and best practices, including role hierarchy, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules.

Strong understanding of web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.

Experience in Agile methodologies and project management tools, such as JIRA.

Salesforce certifications, such as Salesforce Certified Technical Architect, Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified System Architect, and Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II
