Job Description

The Role: As a .NET Software Developer, you will use your experience in full stack software development to implement complex solutions, improve existing features and code maintainability, and deliver digital products needed to access most of our core research and data products. You will work with cross functional teams to write and manage tools used for Client deliveries. Responsibilities + Deliver complex and high-quality software solutions integrated with the existing products, in an agile environment + Develop or enhance products and tools using asp.net, angular, node.js, vue.js and bootstrap. + Maintain Internal applications using SQL Server, windows & web technologies. + Research integrating new technologies that may improve both product and process + Communicate with the product/project management and team members about assigned tasks. + Ensure applications under development meet the defined requirements and pass the user acceptance testing prior to their release. Requirements + A Master or bachelor\'s degree in Computers + Five to ten years of software development experience + Two to five years of asp.net experience (JavaScript, angular, node.js, vue.js, bootstrap etc.). + Hands-on experience with web technologies including JSON/XML, RESTful + Working experience with GIT. + Excellent verbal and written communications skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment. + A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to adapt quickly to new tasks. + Understanding of the Amazon Web Services EC2 and associated technologies is preferred. Good to Have: + Exposure to Docker/Containerization + Mutualfund & Equity domain knowledge is plus + Knowledge of relational database structures and concepts (SQL, MySQL).
