Senior Software Engineer (full stack)


Lionbridge is seeking a talented individual to work as a Senior Software Engineer. You will be a full-stack developer, comfortable reviewing code and making architectural decisions. Unit testing and refactoring is the norm in your day-to-day development activities. Educating and mentoring less skilled team members should come naturally.

What You Will Do

• Taking high-level business requirements and producing technical specifications, architecture designs, and ultimately code
• Development of production quality code. Understanding and implementing design patterns. Writing unit and integration tests
• Participating in product requirement and design reviews
• Ensuring the highest level of technical quality, security, scalability, and stability in all products and teams that you are part of

To Be Successful You Will Have

• 6+ years of experience developing full-stack web-based software using .Net Framework and .Net Core.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL Server
• Experienced in building cloud-based solutions on Azure Cloud platform.
• Good experience in using Angular js and higher versions, additionally hands-on knowledge of:
+ Reactive coding
+ Knowledge and experience of Nx
+ Marble testing and integration tests
+ Deep understanding of modules and why we split an application into smaller modules.
+ State management, Ngrx preferably.
• Understand the importance of code reviews and use them in your current role.
• Understanding of use of Microservices, Cosmos DB
• Practical experience with tools in Azure to evaluate application and hosted services performance and make technical changes to improve applications performance metrics, experience with azure functions, logic apps, azure sql.
• Good knowledge of docker/drapper services
• Experience working with complex, high-transactional product integration or APIs in an AGILE environment is highly desirable.
• Experienced in other Microsoft technologies such as WCF, MVC and Entity Framework
• Focused on delivering quality software by using unit testing, pull requests, code reviews and open peer communication. Experienced with Git
• Willingness to learn new technologies.
• Ability to analyze business requirements, working closely with business analysts to drive out the details of requirements.
• Ability to produce maintainable, scalable, developer tested solutions, to contribute to and adhere to development standards and good practice.
• Expertise in problem solving and debugging complex systems.
• Good experience in using UI design patterns, UML, OO concepts.
• Proficiency with SQL and database stored procedure programming is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately with minimal hands-on management.
• Good verbal and written English communication skills.
• Experience in working on Agile-Scrum teams.
• Experience with telephony platforms (e.g., Twilio, etc.) is a plus.
