Job Description

Uber's Delivery org is bootstrapping a brand new engineering team in India for Ad Tech. Ads is a relatively new high growth business for Uber. The team's charter includes impactful projects to grow the Advertiser base. The front end engineer will primarily work with backend teams in Ads Organization. The engineer will work with other backend and front end engineers to build and maintain new features which will improve the experience of Eaters and Merchants. This is high impact role in the Ads space.




What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points
- What the Candidate Will Do -
• You will design, code, test, and launch backend services and FE features.
• Expertise in building high quality universal React/Redux/Node applications
• Own important components in the Ad Tech system E2E.
• Design and business acumen: You understand requirements, whether you're working on an API used by other developers, an internal tool consumed by our operation teams, or a feature used by millions of customers, your attention to details leads to a delightful user experience.
• Collaborate with other members of the team to ship projects fast and with quality.

- Basic Qualifications -




6+ years front-end development experience working with functional React, Typescript, state management solutions




Experience working with Streaming backend services is preferable.




Have foundational knowledge of HTML and CSS
- Preferred Qualifications -




System design of an end-to-end system covering both front end and backend system design.
