Opportunity Overview



We are seeking a talented Engineer to join our growing India Engineering team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in designing, enhancing, and maintaining our product pipeline using cutting-edge scalable distributed systems technologies. Collaborating with a dynamic team, you will implement innovative solutions that address the evolving needs of the industry.




What You'll Do




• Create a scalable and robust platform for data warehousing across multiple cloud providers.
• Design and implement applications leveraging distributed technologies like Spark, Databricks, and BigQuery.
• Design and develop a SaaS platform by leveraging technologies in areas of user authentication, subscription management, and feature management.
• Develop AI applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, staying updated on advancements in AI technology, and contributing to the company's AI strategy.




Required Skills and Experience




• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• 5-8 years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java, Python and API development.
• Expertise in databases like MongoDB, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and programming skills.
• Familiarity with software engineering best practices including version control, code review, and test driven architecture.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated to thrive in a startup environment.




Preferred Skills



• Proficiency in Spark or Managed Spark like Dataproc and Databricks.
• Familiarity with containers and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Airflow.
• Familiarity with Cloud Data Warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Experience with Javascript or Typescript.
• Previous experience in AI research, development, or implementation projects.
