Overview:

• Seeking an astute individual that has a strong technical foundation with the additional ability to be hands-on with the broader engineering team as part of the development/deployment cycle, and deep knowledge of industry best practices, with the ability to implement them working with both the platform, and the product teams.

Scope:

• Core responsibilities include - debug and diagnose issues from customer environments, design and implement a solution to business requirements (along with counterparts and distinguished Architects) for an industry-leading Warehouse Management Solution that has 100\xe2\x80\x99s of customers across the globe and is hosted on Microsoft Azure Cloud, Private Cloud and, On-Premises.
• The team currently comprises 100+ global associates across the US, India and is expected to grow rapidly.

Our current technical environment:

• Software: Java, J2EE, Spring, Hibernate, GIT, Rest API, OAuth, SQL Server & Oracle, ExtJS
• Application Architecture: Scalable, Resilient, secure enterprise application
• Frameworks/Others: Azure Cloud/Private Cloud/On-Premise, Jenkins, Splunk, AppDynamics

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:

• Consistently delivers solid quality in both design and implementation and helps the team shape what is built how, in particular:
• Develops quality software (including effective test code) according to clean code principles and Blue Yonder standards.
• Provides input for the prioritization of issues in the backlog and autonomously pulls issues or supports other team members as appropriate.
• Will be part of the Customer Satisfaction (Product Maintenance and Defect Fixing)
• Participates in team activities such as backlog grooming, planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Translates business requirements to user stories and actively seeks feedback by the stakeholders.
• Considers aspects of information security while coding and reviewing other\'s code.
• Keeps up to date with technology and researches the latest trends in the industry.
• Is perceived as the expert in a small area and is the go-to person for related implementational and operational issues.
• Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
• Participates in interviewing of developers

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree (STEM preferred) and minimum 6+ years of experience in Software development.
• Must have good hands-on knowledge as a Full Stack JavaJ2EE Developer with experience of Front End, Backend, UI and Database Development using technology stack like Core Java, MVC, Struts, Spring, Hibernate, etc.
• Ability to debug and diagnose issues in complex enterprise applications.
• Proven experience in product maintenance & support team (bug fixing).
• Good to have experience/ understanding on Devops
• Good to have experience in using CI / CD tools like SVN, GIT, JUnit, JTest, Jenkins, etc
• Excellent collaborator/communicator \xe2\x80\x93 had run technical initiatives globally

Nice To Have

• Previous experience with Warehouse/fulfillment or any ecommerce products
• Experience with API management platforms & providing / consuming RESTful APIs
