We are the Windows Developer Platform team and we build the MSIX technology stack, which allows Windows apps to be packaged into self-describing units, efficiently deployed on the users system, and executed within an isolated container. We aim to eliminate the burden ISVs face of creating custom installer and setup components. And we want end users to manage their installed Windows apps confidently with 100% reliability and no adverse system health effects. To make this mission possible, we also look to build cloud based services and tools to make it easy and scalable for Developers as well as Administrators to achieve this.We are building a new team in Microsoft, Hyderabad and looking for excellent engineers to join the team for taking the platform forward in their evolution. We want to expand the capabilities of the Windows app platform and need you to help us drive the revolution. • Design, develop, and maintain software components and libraries for the Windows Developer Platforms.
• Optimize existing codebase for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and other quality assurance activities.

Qualifications:Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python

• OR equivalent experience.
• A Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or comparable industry experience
• Win32 application and systems programming experience will be a huge asset
• Experience of developing and operating a production quality service on any cloud especially Azure will be a huge asset
• Solid design, coding, and debugging competencies.
