About the Role:We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with expertise in Selenium and Python to join our quality assurance team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the high quality and reliability of our software applications. This position requires a keen attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for enhancing testing efficiencies through automation.Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Python to validate functionality, performance, and reliability of software applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and other QA engineers, to understand application requirements and develop effective test plans and strategies.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring all defects are resolved and tested.
• Continuously enhance the automation framework and ensure reusability and scalability of automated scripts.
• Analyze test results, generate test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and industry best practices in automation.
• Work with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) to integrate automated tests into the deployment pipeline.
• Provide insights on areas of improvement and proactively identify opportunities for enhancing the quality and reliability of testing processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in automation testing with hands-on experience using Selenium WebDriver and Python.
• Strong knowledge of software testing lifecycle (STLC) and methodologies, including Agile and DevOps environments.
• Proficiency in writing test scripts and automation frameworks in Python.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab) for integrating test automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and analytical abilities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with other automation tools like Appium for mobile testing.
• Familiarity with behavior-driven development (BDD) frameworks such as Cucumber or Behave.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter) and SQL for database validation.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
