As a Senior Java Developer, you will be part of the technical design, development, and maintenance of applications and systems using existing and emerging technology platforms. You will be responsible for writing and delivering functionality, documentation, unit test cases, and integration tests as part of a fully Agile DevOps team. Additionally, you will guide junior developers and non-technical business colleagues through the software development lifecycle, ensuring best practices and timely delivery of solutions within budget.Reporting to: Software Development Manager
Department: Product Technology and Engineering teamKey Responsibilities: * Understanding the technical direction of the product.

• Collaborating with and supporting the team around you.
• Following existing coding guidelines, practices, and all technical processes while being open to suggesting improvements and new ideas to enhance these practices.
• Understanding and explaining how our software fits into the wider architecture of the solution.
• Developing and estimating technical work to be undertaken.
• Participating in the analysis of requirements for designing new application and system features. Assisting with documenting and expressing those requirements for business and technical stakeholders.
• Learning and integrating new technologies in a cutting-edge environment.

Communication: Must be a good communicator, as you may need to work at Delhi Airport for some time with the end customer.Basic Technical Skills: Basic Java and .Net knowledge.Critical Aspects: * Coding practices: Understanding and implementing best coding practices, including the SITA framework.

• Unit test cases: Sharing thoughts on unit tests and how to build them effectively.
• 80% code coverage: Having a clear idea of code coverage.
• Improving code quality.
