What you will do:
Designs, develops, tests, debugs and implements operating systems components, software tools and utilities.
Determines systems software design requirements.
Ensures that system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Generate systems software engineering policies, standards and procedures.
Provide support for Linux laptops. Like issues with VPN connectivity, Identity management, User administration and installation of Ubuntu images.
Setting up of new Linux as well as Windows laptops.
Documentation (Confluence/SharePoint) for all the troubleshooting of frequent issues.
Maintain hardware inventory, and work with cross functional teams/vendors for the maintenance of the hardware.
Apply (Linux/Windows) OS and other SW Patches on periodic basis.
Quickly arrange repair for hardware in occasion of hardware failure (for non-IT assets)
Participate in following security activities
Vulnerability Scanning (One time, recurring)
Vulnerability Monitoring
What you need:
Bachelors in software/Electronics Engineering or equivalent degree.
Overall 3+ years of hands-on experience involving software and hardware platforms
Experience in managing following platforms/machines to ensure anytime availability of Lab environment: -Hyper VX, VMWare and other virtualization software packages Windows - managing AD, OS and servers for the Product Security Lab-Linus machines Lab network management and upgradation
Strong experience in Cloud Infra: Design and Implement best practices for backups and whole infra.
