ICON people have a mission to succeed and a passion that ensures what we do, we do well.Summary:A Senior Software Engineer with 8+ years of hands-on commercial-grade software development experience involved in code review, process and performance improvement, team or project leadership, mentoring of other team members. An experienced Senior Software Engineer works as an independent player as part of a Development Team, and influences the technical direction of one of ICON\xe2\x80\x99s products or family of products. The position reports to Manager or Senior Manager.What you do?Design and develop and maintain software solutions with minimal supervision and direction.Acts as Business Analyst on selected projects, defining requirements and other technical specifications, in addition to writing and unit testing codeDelivers to a high quality standard within agreed time scales.Plans and takes ownership of own work and any issues relating to same.Solves problems that arise in own area of responsibility.Develops technical competence on technologies relating to assignments and other technologies as directedProvides regular feedback to manager and/or designee on work status and problem areas.Provides input to team project schedule.Actively supports teamwork both within own group and across Development, by offering assistance to other team members in an effort to achieve team goals.Participates in code and design reviewsConstantly proposes improvements to systemsWhat you need?Minimum IT/Computer Science/Software Engineering related degree or equivalent with at least 8+ years of experience on application development and implementation experience.Strong working experience in ASP .NET MVC, Angular and, databases like SQL/Oracle/MySQL and Rest API.Excellent understanding of OO Object Oriented programming and Design patterns.Experience with delivering projects using Agile software development techniques.Good analytical capabilities, ability to learn quickly and interpersonal skills, Abstraction capability, and logical thinking.Benefits of Working in ICON:Our success depends on the knowledge, capabilities and quality of our people.
