Microsoft Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) is the team behind building the Microsoft cloud. Within CO+I, the Datacenter Planning & eXecution Engineering (DPXE) team is responsible for delivering datacenter capacity for Microsofts cloud business. We have a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary, multi-million, multi-year datacenter construction and lease projects with specific safety, quality, schedule, and cost goals.The DPX Engineering team is responsible for architecting, designing, and building the next generation of connected systems and tools using microservices architecture or ERP platforms to help manage and support critical business functions such as Supply Chain, Cost, Schedule, Networking, Commissioning, Safety, Planning etc. in a real time manner. The team has a charter to deliver against the NorthStar goal of building robust automation for these functions through well engineered systems and at the same time design and build the next gen, ML based, recommendation engine to enable cost and schedule modeling, supply planning, execution planning etc. while integrating with the bigger CO+I ecosystem.Microsofts mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. • Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure software solutions using microservices, event-driven architecture, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design and implement interfaces to integrate with the SAP on-premise and cloud applications.
• Build reusable components, frameworks, and libraries that enable faster development , testing and higher quality.
• Leverage AI/ML techniques and tools to solve complex problems and create innovative solutions.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
• Apply best practices for CI/CD, infrastructure as code, observability, and debugging to ensure fast and smooth delivery of software products.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and present technical vision and solutions to large audiences.
• Demonstrate agility in developing Proof of Concepts.

Qualifications:Required/Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

8+ years of experience in software development, with a proven track record of delivering highly Scalable, Observable, and Secure software products.

• Experience in working interfacing with SAP systems.

• Experience in building microservices, and event-driven architecture solutioning and architecting in Azure is a must.

• Exp. with SAP BTP , ABAP Development , Exp. with RAP and CAP programming models.
• Proficiency in full stack - .NET stack and cloud ecosystems, C# , NodeJS etc. UI frameworks - ReactJS, SAPUI5 etc.

• Strong at Design, analytical and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on quality and engineering excellence.

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications:

• Experience working in capital projects with capital expenditures (CAPEX) and/or operating expenses (OPEX) in construction, real estate facility value chain including but not limited to owner-led enterprise or general contractor, budget, construction, maintenance and operations, infrastructure acquisition (land, lease, energy, fiber), contract lease management.
• Experience working through the full product cycle from initial design to rapid production deployment and shipping software products across multiple platforms/devices
