• Lead and mentor a team of software engineers in the design, development, and maintenance of Java applications using Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Provide expertise in building and maintaining Hibernate-based data persistence solutions.
• Manage Oracle Database for effective data handling and querying.
• Oversee the development of Java Swing applications and Java RMI services.
• Implement and enforce best practices in writing robust JUnit tests.
• Set up and manage continuous integration and deployment pipelines using Jenkins.
• Direct and supervise projects with Gradle.
• Lead version control and collaborative development efforts using GIT.
• Drive Agile development methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, within the team.
• Preferred knowledge of Apache Camel, IBM/Active MQ, and Groovy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and guide the team in adopting best practices in Java development.
• proven experience as a Java Developer with expertise in Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Strong knowledge of Hibernate and Oracle Database.
• Proficiency in Java Swing and Java RMI.
• Extensive experience with JUnit for unit testing.
• Strong experience with Jenkins for continuous integration.
• Expertise in Gradle for project build and management.
• Extensive experience with GIT for version control and collaborative development.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
• Preferred knowledge of Apache Camel, IBM/Active MQ, and Groovy.
• Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.

As a Software engineer, having Java 8, Spring, and Spring Boot is a huge plus. Very good knowledge of Hibernate and Oracle Database will also be an integral part of this role.You are a technology aficionado, therefore you have a good understanding of Java Swing,Java RMI, JUnit for unit testing, Jenkins. You are able to work independently, prioritize and organize your tasks under time and workload pressure.
