The Oracle Retail suite is comprised of about 30 different integrated applications. These applications provide retailers with an enterprise-wide solution footprint to manage their business. This challenging position puts you at the forefront of interactions with Oracle Retail application\'s customers.
As a Senior Software Engineer (IC3) you will be responsible for:

• Providing support on the Oracle Retail solutions
• Managing and resolving Service Requests logged by customers.
• Managing customer expectations through the Service Request lifecycle in accordance with Oracle\xe2\x80\x99s global standards.
• Operating in line with Bug Diagnosis and Escalation/ Development Bug guidelines in resolution of Bug related Service Requests.
• Reducing escalations.
• Maintaining product expertise in assigned cluster.
• Contributing to Knowledge Management content\xe2\x80\x99s creation and maintenance.
• Participating in Root Cause/ Corrective Action defined within the product area in order to further enhance the customer experience and improve the Oracle product.
• Maintaining an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of new products released in the market for the given product area.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Educational Qualifications: B.E. (Comp Sc), MCA, M.Sc.(Comp Sc.), M.S.(Comp. Sc.).
• Proven experience in an application software environment working with Oracle Retail Applications and/ or Oracle Applications. Support for IT applications is an advantage.
• Knowledge of relational DB models, SQL and PL/SQL.
• Experience in Retail or Manufacturing disciplines of Merchandise/Materials Planning, Financial Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment, Warehouse Distribution, and Store Operations.

Mandatory:
o Proven experience in an application software environment working with Oracle Retail Applications and/ or Oracle Applications. Support for IT applications is an advantage.
o Knowledge of relational DB models, SQL and PL/SQL.
o 5 \xe2\x80\x93 10 years of experience in functional modules, expertise at least in 2 modules.
Desirable:
o Experience in Retail or Manufacturing disciplines of Merchandise/Materials Planning, Financial Planning, Forecasting, Replenishment, Warehouse Distribution, and Store Operations.
o Working experience on Cloud Services
o Proven experience in supporting customer issues on Cloud platforms
o Proven experience with Java and J2EE technologies on web applications support or development is an added advantage.
