GIS Support Engineer Required Skills: Experience- 6-8 years of experience Skills Required- ESRI ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise/Online Job description: 6+ years of experience in enterprise GIS enabled IT solutions/systems that leverage the ArcGIS enterprise platform (desktop, server, and online), OR similar Platforms and tools Experience as Fiber Optics Design Engineer with hands-on experience with ArcGIS tools and AutoCAD Well versed with various tools and features involving 2D and 3D mapping, model creation/publishing and geo processing tools. Ability to successfully apply design standards, principles, formulae and deliver output with consistent quality. Create and edit fiber route maps using GIS software with optimal routing within the cost estimates Map new and existing network features, such as conduits, access points, building structures, manholes, and fiber routes in a design. Experience in editing and maintaining geospatial datasets. Edit attribute data and annotative information for routes, fiber, connections, and structures in a design Experienced in using GIS web and mobile field data collection applications Prepare GIS datasets, Maps, database reports Conduct attribute queries in Esri to compile requested network data for analysis. Good understanding of multiple GIS standards for data formats, metadata and GIS services Roles and Responsibilities: Collaborate with the project team to plan and design Fiber to the Home (FTTH) networks, leveraging ArcGIS tools for mapping, analysis, and deployment. Utilize ArcGIS Pro for creating detailed network maps and designs for FTTH Model creation, updating, publishing to Feature Services of ArcGIS Enterprise / Online utilizing attribute rules and Arcade Scripting Analyze spatial data to prepare reports, dashboards, presentations and perform geoprocessing tasks using ArcGIS Pro and Enterprise/Online. Develop and automate deployment processes using Python scripting where necessary. Analyze spatial data using ArcGIS tools and manage data quality of FTTH network Provide technical support and guidance on ArcGIS tools and best practices to the team. Flexibility to work in shifts supporting US customers Qualifications: Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering or related field. 4-8 years of hands-on experience in Fiber Optics Design, with a strong emphasis on ArcGIS tools. Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Enterprise /Online and geo processing tools. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
