Summary As a senior software developer, you will contribute to next generation digital platform to power GE Healthcare digital properties. You will oversee and implements template, Layouts. WordPress content delivery on Azure AKS. Evaluates other CMS products/ vendors Define best practices, establishes standards, actively contributes to creation of WordPress Components, Plugins and themes, frameworks, and reusable components. Essential Responsibilities: . Analyze and review the business requirements for customer engagement automation tool(s). Translate and convert the business requirements to global IT teams from business language to IT language by closely working with IT architects and relevant IT teams. . Thorough understanding of Digital Marketing, Analytics, CMS, DMS, Cloud concepts . Translate functional & customer experience requirements to WordPress technical designs. . Estimate effort for implementation of WordPress designs. . Design and implement templates & layouts for Multi-site, Multi-lingual scenarios. . Create and deploy medium/high complexity layouts and templates using ACF controls, pages using Guttenberg Editor. . Design, develop and debug templates . Diagnose and solve common problems related to WordPress plugin and Comments. . Participate in workshops with business and technical clients to support problem definition and identification of key business processes. . Define best practices, development standards to manage performance and scalability of the CMS application and work with stakeholders to manage CMS performance issues and dependencies. . Define best practices for implementing content personalization solutions to enable targeted content delivery, SEO and Performance Optimization solution. . Design, configure and implement CMS from analytics integration and data capturing perspective. . Mentor and share knowledge, improve processes and develop systematic solutions for foundational & common business needs. Qualifications/Requirements: . 5-10 years of IT experience with a minimum of 4+ years\' experience in Implementation and Maintenance of Applications on WordPress. . Strong expertise on UI Design, Bootstrap Framework, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, jQuery, Java script . Proficiency in PHP and WordPress . Implemented projects using Agile/SCRUM methodology. . Expert in WordPress concepts, Themes, Plugins, Templates, Workflows and Security. . Expert in end-to-end content lifecycle, web content management and delivery processes. . Highly developed interpersonal and leadership skills. Effectively liaises with all levels of management. . Drive to learn new technology and build in-depth expertise . Experienced in handling multi country rollouts and managed multiple instances of WordPress . Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Analytic, creative and business-focused problem solver Desired Characteristics: . PHP, MySQL, and WordPress experience. . ReactJS, NodeJS experience. . Exposure to other CMS like Sitecore . Experience in the Healthcare industry . Manage deployments to staging and production with technology team and creative agency developer manager . Use Automated Semi Automated CI CD deployment pipeline to automate deployment of code and other artifacts from development through production deployment, and operations. . Troubleshoot website bugs and issues . Establish a website maintenance routine, conducting audits to identify performance issues and provide solutions to improve and optimize Website performance . Update and optimize WordPress interface and functionality .
