The Opportunity

In your role as a Senior Software Engineer for Control plane team, you will deliver Software Solutions for Next Generation Control Plane based on our Linux software and technology. You will design, develop, test and maintain a variety of application and low-level software that runs on our impactful platforms. This is also an opportunity to contribute standards and cloud and 5G features

The Job

• You are one of the inquisitive people on the planet
• Build strong technical expertise on software architectural patterns for Control Plane.
• Key technology areas include embedded development on these - Virtualization cloud, 3G, 4G,5G and scalability
• Develop and customize diameter protocols, communication stacks (ie TCP/IP, SCTP, UDP), scalability for our software
• Investigate into technical architecture and design when needed to tackle complex problem from customers
• Lead end to end development of Sandvine products

What skills you bring:

• BTech or MTech (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science
• Strong understanding of 3GPP standards
• Experience in Linux development (stack level development)
• Excellent programming skills in C (or) C++
• Strong understanding of design patterns
• 4+ yrs of proven experience in Networking product development
• Debugging and solving using GDB, Profiling tools for CPU and memory
• 2+ years of experience in software development in the Telecommunication Industry
• Strong understanding of Networking Concepts like TCP/IP, Switching and Routing.
• Understanding of Openstack components and relevant experience is desirable
• Understanding of virtualization technology, libvert, kvm, qemu is desirable
