The Role:



As a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) in the Static Data team, you will be responsible for evolving backend architecture, developing scalable systems, and optimizing data management processes. Your work will focus on automating data ingestion, ensuring data accuracy, and delivering high-quality technical solutions to enhance the user experience.

What you will be working on:



You will design and maintain backend services for static data management, automate processes, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions. This role involves writing clean, maintainable code, optimizing performance, and ensuring system reliability.

Core Responsibilities:



• Backend Development: Develop and maintain scalable backend services for hotel and flight static data management.
• Automation: Automate data ingestion, synchronization, and validation processes.
• System Architecture: Design and implement system architecture for managing large-scale data.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.
• Code Quality: Ensure high-quality code through rigorous testing, reviews, and adherence to best practices.
• Performance Optimization: Optimize system performance and ensure reliability for static data operations.



Skills and experience:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 5+ years of backend software engineering experience.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and problem-solving.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, with experience in design patterns and multi-threading.
• Experience with microservices architecture and relational database optimization.
• Proven ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Effective collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.



Nice to haves:



• Experience in the travel domain or static data systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS.
• Expertise in optimizing workflows and automating processes.
• Attention to detail and the ability to resolve complex issues.
