Role: Senior Software Engineer (Automation) - Klocwork
Location: Pune, IN[TO BE UPDATED WITH LATEST JD]Perforce develops DevOps tools that improve software quality and security as well as team productivity for several of the world\'s leading companies, such as PIXAR, CD Projekt Red, NASA, Verizon, Honda, NVIDIA.Position Summary:We are looking for a test engineer to join the Klocwork team. Your main focus is functional testing of all Klocwork products. This includes new feature testing, regression testing, production defects verification and updating test cases for the analysis engines within KW, management portals and various other plugins within the KW ecosystem.Klocwork is a market leader in code analysis and has extremely accurate static code analyzers for C, C++, C#, and Java programming languages. It\'s a modern, highly performant and flexible static code analyzer that scales to projects of any size and works effectively within the DevOps cycle.Responsibilities:

• Testing new features of Klocwork product
• Creating new test cases and updating existing test cases
• Production defects validation
• Regression testing existing features before releases
• Working as a team member in one of our agile engineering teams
• Analyse server logs to detect bugs and provide extra input for developers
• Release planning and coordination

Requirements:

• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years of working experience in software engineering team
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and what is Test Engineer role in the Agile team
• Experience with manual testing of web based applications (mandatory)
• Experience with some form of automation testing (UI testing with Selenium, API functional testing) - well versed with at least one programming language i.e. Python, Java etc.
• Experience with analysing production defects and writing good quality bug descriptions for developers

Nice to have:

• Experience with API testing
• Experience with Load and performance testing
