Job Title: Senior Software Development Manager (C/C++)

Role Overview: -We are seeking a seasoned Senior Manager with the passion and experience necessary to lead, design, develop, and support Trellix\'s leading edge Network product suites.

About Role

• Development of the next generation malware detection system and threat management product suite.
• Ownership of significant areas of the code for both new feature/functionality development as well as to maintain/redesign of the existing areas of the product.
• Continuous focus and contribution in the areas of performance, availability & scalability, reliability, and maintainability of the product.
• Active participation in our ongoing process enhancements and software development practices.

About You

• 10-20 years of relevant industry experience.
• At least 3-4 years of experience in leading a team of 5-8 engineers.
• Hands-on experience in handling the data and controlling path network product
• Strong C/C++ programming development skills.
• Linux programming skills.
• Must have experience in networking concepts and protocols especially (TCP/IP, HTTP, FTP, DNS, etc.)
• Good to have experience with DPDK.
• Knowledge of network security problems and solutions.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, & analysis skills
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related technical experience
• Exposure to IPS or Firewall products will be a plus.
