In your day-to-day role, you will:

• Lead and inspire a high-performing engineering team to build and scale a highly secure, reliable and performant AI/ML platform to enable a standardized end-to-end model development and production lifecycle with delightful user experience
• Drive a results-oriented culture with a strong focus on engineering excellence, execution, and craftsmanship as a Customer Champion
• Develop trusted partnership with business, product, data scientists and architecture leaders to drive optimized platform product delivery; Manage stakeholder planning and communications ensuring key outcomes
• Recruit, coach, and mentor the best engineering and management talent
• Ability to lead complex technical and data science discussions and engagements that involve multiple personas including data scientists, data engineers, analysts and developers
• Anticipate and aggressively remove obstacles that slow down or prevent products and programs from delivering on product and program objectives. Balance urgent and effective action, commitment to excellence, and taking initiative to resolve problems; holds internal stakeholders accountable where appropriate
• Strong communication, listening, interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills; able to convey important messages in a clear and compelling manner
• Develops loyalty and commitment in others by communicating clear expectations, developing and mentoring direct reports, and setting an example in one\xe2\x80\x99s own behavior

What do you need to bring:

• Masters / bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in computer science, Machine Learning, Data Mining, Information Systems, or related disciplines, with technical expertise in one or more of the above-mentioned areas or equivalent practical experience.
• Solid track record of over-achieving engineering and platform delivery and scaling targets in high volume, innovative and fast-paced high-pressure environment; proven results in delivery on platform product
• Global mindset with ability to think about culture, language, and other aspects when putting the customer at the center of all outcomes.
• Working experience in data & AI/ML field, including new and emerging technologies in Machine Learning/Deep Learning, Generative AI, and Big Data.
• Working experience with Agile methodologies and durable team concepts

• 12+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in software development with 5+ years experiences as a people manager.

• Ability to influence at all levels of the organization and across multiple domains
• Strong strategic planning and organizational skills; ability to build and lead a team across geographically distributed locations
• Passion for leading and developing direct reports; providing guidance, consultation, and opportunities towards improving their professional skill set
• Excellent time management skills with ability to manage a large, diverse set of to-do\xe2\x80\x99s \xe2\x80\x93 vigorously prioritize, stay on top of multiple work streams, monitor progress, hold owners accountable
• Communication style motivated by brevity and purposeful outcomes with experience interfacing with executives

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience building ML infrastructure or MLOps platforms or Decision platforms/Rule Engines.
• Strong management skills for planning and executing complex multi-team projects.
