Senior Software Developer
Location: Pune (Hybrid working)

We're on the hunt for a Senior Software Developer as part of our company's growth.
The Senior Software Developer is responsible for the development of the architecture design and high-quality coding to support Instem's in silico solutions in meeting customer and internal needs as defined my product managers/scientists.Who's Instem? Well, we're a global provider of bespoke industry-leading software solutions and services, which facilitate the pre-clinical, and clinical phases of the drug discovery process. We have over fifteen products in our portfolio, used by over 700 pharmaceutical clients (including all the top 20!).

• Development of new and existing product features
• Building desktop, web applications and services components using best practices
• Producing technical documentation when applicable
• Adherence to agreed programming standards and guidelines
• To monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities, and to identify sources of technology and data that could streamline and reduce development costs
• Adherence to the Company's Quality Management System to ensure that all work is handled Securely, Professionally and Diligently.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Proficiency in Java (1.8 or above) with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Experience with Hibernate/JPA for ORM and database interaction.
• Hands-on experience of Spring Framework, including Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Proficiency in GWT (Google Web Toolkit) for building and maintaining front-end components.
• Hands-on experience with WildFly (or JBoss) application servers for deploying and managing Java applications.
