Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Site Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will oversee and manage all on-site construction activities to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Senior Site Engineer will work closely with project managers, contractors, and clients to deliver successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specified quality standards.
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff.
• Prepare and review project schedules, work plans, and cost estimates.
• Technical Oversight:
• Interpret and review construction plans and specifications.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and assessments to ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues or design discrepancies.
• Quality Control:
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures to ensure high standards of workmanship.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify and rectify any defects or deficiencies.
• Maintain accurate records of quality control activities and outcomes.
• Health and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks.
• Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents on site.
• Communication and Coordination:
• Liaise with project managers, clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to project managers and clients.
• Facilitate and attend site meetings and progress reviews.
• Documentation:
• Maintain comprehensive site documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and project records.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and readily accessible.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer, with at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Working Conditions:

• The role requires working on construction sites, which may involve exposure to varying weather conditions and physical activities.
• Occasional travel may be required to attend meetings or visit other project sites.
