Job Title: Senior Site Engineer

Location: HSR Layout, Bangalore
Department: Construction/Engineering
Reports to: Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Site Engineer to oversee and manage all on-site construction activities. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. This role requires a professional who is skilled in construction techniques, project management, and team coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Site Management:

• Supervise and manage all site operations, including labor, materials, and equipment.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and construction codes.

Project Planning and Coordination:

• Develop and execute detailed work plans in collaboration with the project team.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager.

Quality Assurance:

• Ensure adherence to quality standards throughout all phases of construction.
• Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of materials and workmanship.

Health and Safety Compliance:

• Enforce site safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive measures.

Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain accurate records of site activities, resources, and issues.
• Prepare daily/weekly progress reports and submit them to management.

Problem-Solving:

• Identify and resolve technical and operational challenges on-site.
• Provide solutions to mitigate delays and cost overruns.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.

Experience: 6+ years in site engineering, with at least 2 years in a senior/leadership role.

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in project management tools and software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and safety standards.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Problem-solving mindset with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
• Experience with large-scale residential/commercial projects.
