APM Terminals (APMT) plays a critical role in enabling the global Maersk Ocean and Logistics network as well as serving other Shipping Lines, Beneficial Cargo Owners, Freight Forwarders, intermodal logistics providers and integrating with a wide variety of local port authorities, customs and government bodies across our global network of transshipment, import and export gateway terminals. In support of the broader Maersk strategy, we are accelerating the transformation of our business from a portfolio of independently operated terminals, into a safer, better, bigger global terminals operator. We are currently looking for a Senior Scrum Master to join our APM Terminals Terminal Integration Platform team based in Bengaluru. Key responsibilities: As a Scrum Master for one or more teams, you will work in a servant leader capacity. You will be responsible for making sure the team lives by agile values. You will be the guardian of the scrum team. You will facilitate the scrum ceremonies and work to resolve impediments. You will monitor the scrum process and work to ensure efficiency across the team, pushing for changes that will ensure quality and value for the business outcomes. You will keep the team motivated, coach them, and ensures observance of the definition of done. You ensure the scrum team executes the backlog according to the priorities defined by the Product Owner, deliver on time, and with production-ready quality. - Build high-performing and self-organizing teams that deliver business values though agile way of working. - Run sprint ceremonies with teams working in different locations across the globe. - Build a trusting and safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on problem solving. - Resolve impediments and shield teams from outside distractions and unintended dependencies and interference. - Helping the team manage interpersonal conflicts, challenges and opportunities for growth. - Support release planning activities, and release and sprint burndown analysis. Facilitate discussions, decision making, and conflict resolution between team members and Product Owners. - Communicate with other teams and management on project progress and dependency, ensuring transparency across all stakeholders. - Actively participate in Scrum Master communities to share best practices. - Have a natural curiosity for gaining business acumen in Container Shipping and Chartering. We are looking for: - A certified Scrum Master, with at least a bachelor\'s degree and proven experience working as a Scrum Master across complex initiatives. - A good understanding of technology and software delivery practices. - A continual learner who demonstrates the value of learning and knowledge. - A strong collaborator, and an excellent communicator, with an ability to articulate the technically complex to be understood by both technical and non-technical audiences. - Drive a DevOps mindset to lead self-managed teams. - Ability to manage multiple tasks and conflicting priorities. - Ability to provide constructive feedback.
