Client: Roche Practice: PAS Project: Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) Role Required: Senior Advisor/ Consultant SAP Basis / Digital Cloud solutions. - Ideally supporting the CET time zone, which provides overlap between managed SAP landscapes (APAC and NALA). Skills required: The following skillset is required. Excellent English language - both written and spoken. Must be able to communicate as a native English speaker. Advantageous - German language speaker. Any level of German a bonus (this is not a key requirement for the offshore resource). Have experience in 3+ full lifecycle of Cloud solutions implementation projects Effectively communicates, future technology directions to leadership, team and clients. Deep knowledge and experience of working with the Linux Operating System (Red hat 7 or 8 preferred) at the command line level. Deep Knowledge and experience of running and managing SAP systems (ABAP) on VMWare hypervisor. Deep knowledge of IPv4 networking including firewall concepts. Deep knowledge of Encryption techniques (PKI) and their application within the SAP software stack. Subject Matter Expert in implementing and supporting the 4 core areas: SAP S4, BODS (IS/DS/IPS), SAP HANA SP2.0, Solman 2.0. To include skills and experience in the following areas: SAP Client copy and SAP System copy. SAP Printing. SAP Single Sign-on (experience with Cybersafe 3rd part tools a bonus). SAP ABAP Server engine management - best practices, performance management. SAP Landscape management and optimization including TMS setup & Management. - experience with Charm a bonus. SAP EWA analysis. SAP System Monitoring. - experience with CCMS and the monitoring architecture. Coaching and mentors the internal developer team on the above owned subjects Have 10+ years of typical experience. Duties : Primary customer facing technical lead consultant to lead the internal team and interact with the customer team. Own upcoming projects, with a view of understanding and explaining architectural implications, impact on the running service. Change Management, assist the customer in planning the annual change management service deliverables like Tech Stack upgrades (including OS updates, SAP kernel updates, Support Pack Stack upgrades, Database upgrades). Ensure the SAP infrastructure and resources are positioned to support customer initiatives. Engage with support for the delivery of SAP Basis Tickets and with infrastructure teams for issues below the Basis Layer (networking, firewall, storage, hypervisor etc.). Organize and complete comprehensive documentation around the governance of the service, including Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly reporting. Identifying and bringing to the customer\'s attention, recommendations, and in-depth insight around topics like capacity planning and on-going performance. Organize and manage actionable findings with both Support teams and the customer ensuring corrections and their statuses are successfully implemented. Assist the NTT Service Delivery team with managing ticketing information. Prioritize work between the support teams. Maintain the customer\'s documentation in line with their auditing requirements and standards. Soft Skills : Must be able to Demonstrate a \'Can-do\' attitude, own the initiative when engaging with problems and communicate solution ideas to client, both technical and non-technical audiences.
