Position Overview :
The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales and managing the sales team to achieve the company's revenue targets. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing sales strategies, expanding the customer base, and ensuring that sales goals are met efficiently and effectively. The role also involves working closely with marketing, production, and distribution teams to ensure timely delivery of products and high customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities :
• Sales Strategy Development : Design and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth, expand market share, and achieve sales targets in the pipe manufacturing sector.
• Team Leadership : Lead and manage the sales team, setting clear goals, providing training and support, and monitoring performance to ensure targets are met.
• Customer Relationship Management : Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
• Market Expansion : Identify and pursue new business opportunities in existing markets and new territories, including exploring partnerships, wholesalers, and retailers.
• Sales Forecasting and Reporting : Prepare regular sales forecasts and reports for senior management, analyzing trends and adjusting strategies accordingly.
• Collaboration with Other Departments : Work closely with the production and operations teams to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time and within specifications.
• Product Knowledge and Promotion : Stay up-to-date with the latest product developments, ensuring that the sales team is well-versed in the company's products and competitive advantages.
• Customer Service Excellence : Oversee customer inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring timely and satisfactory resolutions to strengthen customer loyalty.
• Sales Targets and Performance : Monitor sales performance against targets, taking corrective actions as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Competitor Analysis : Monitor and analyze competitor activity, market trends, and customer preferences to adjust sales strategies accordingly.
Qualifications :
• Educational Qualification : Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A master's degree or MBA is a plus.
• Experience : 5+ years of experience in sales management, preferably in manufacturing or the pipe industry.
Skills :
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of the pipe manufacturing industry, including market trends and competitor analysis.
• Proficiency in sales and CRM software, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to drive results and work under pressure to meet sales targets.
• Knowledge of supply chain, logistics, and production processes is advantageous.
