Shape internet security As a Senior Release Engineer, you\'ll develop automation and release procedures and practices for our mobile and desktop applications and cloud services. As a Release Engineer Senior II, you will be responsible for: Providing technical expertise on the release process and management Designing and implementing tools and pipelines that help automate builds and releases Managing and facilitating engineering and release plans, execution, and workflows Communicating your designs and implementation within the team and across other groups across the company effectively Collaborating with other software engineering teams to influence and shape the design process and product development Staying updated with the latest trends and advancements in networking, security, and cloud technologies Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have 8 years of relevant experience and a Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science or another related field/equivalent. Have considerable experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Groovy Have deep experience with building Docker and Kubernetes applications Be skilled with Continuous Integration tools (i.e. Jenkins) and version control software (i.e. Git, Perforce) Possess an understanding of working with orchestration and configuration frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai\'s Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
