Senior R&D Engineer

You will be working as Senior R&D Engineer and will be part of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for contributing significantly to successful project results in technology or product development by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions. Using unique technical knowledge to oversee development tasks.

Your responsibilities

• Demonstrating independent ability to recognize problems and providing input to solutions
• Actively following the scientific discussions in own competence area and contributing independently
• Contributing to R&D projects with own, creative ideas
• Proposing follow-up projects and activities within own technical area based on new ideas
• Ensuring alignment with assigned targets (time, cost, quality) and coordinating activities
• Demonstrating sound understanding of and actively applying R&D processes and tools

Your background

• Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Minimum 6 years of experience in relevant field
• Working experience in software product development in power system domain
• Should have knowledge in using GIT, Static Code analysis, Unit testing tools
• Should be able to guide team, provide estimations and execute milestones withing committed time
• Good in C, RTOS, device drivers for embedded systems
• Good in writing embedded application in C
