Senior Rail Technician - StructuresGurugram, IndiaIf you are an experienced technician who has majorly worked on Rail projects and wish to work on challenging projects in this sector, then you are at the right place. Ramboll are seeking applications from such individuals to work on their large-scale rail projects in Europe and especially in UK.You must have a BE/B Tech degree from an institute of repute, preferably a Civil engineering degree. Experience in having worked with 3D-Open-Buildings-designer which is a Bentley software. MicroStation and Ecocem are the software you should have work proficiency in.Preferred Qualifications: * Hands on experience in modeling of RCC and Steel

• Having delivered drawings and models successfully in Rail sector
• Having worked on International projects is advantageous

REC focusses on providing global expertise using local resources from India. Facilitates cooperation between India, business units in Europe and the Middle East specifically for the Buildings, Transport and Water sectors.Location- GurgaonThis big team is divided into groups of dedicated personnel working for structures in UK, Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway who sometimes also work across these boundaries. They are virtual team mates working on common projects, prime business units in the above countries being the ones who coordinate with the clients and other consultants as well as with REC to pass on the design solutions to the user. The wide range in type of projects vary from high rise structures, to precast, to post tensioning etc., for some regions to industrial structures depending on the country you are working for. The most attractive thing is in spite of the challenges of working across continents, because of the culture of planning ahead and ability to understand each other's needs, everyone works in a peaceful and lively manner, enjoyment and empowerment being some of the Ramboll values.Your key tasks and responsibilities will be:

• Creating and maintaining visual programming scripts alongside the structural engineers
• Parametric modelling through Rhino, Grasshopper
• Testing inhouse created tools and plugins
• Keeping up to date with existing and upcoming tools and plugins
• Explore opportunities in new technology and tools

• BE/B. Tech degree in Civil Engineering from an institute of repute.
• Must know how a structural engineer works especially with reinforced concrete structures and steel structures.
• Must have an exposure to any of the structural analysis software
