PixelMechanics is searching for an experienced and highly skilled Senior QA Engineer, to join our dedicated technology team. You have a proven track record in quality assurance, testing, and team leadership and want to join a dynamic and innovative work environment? • A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as Senior QA
• Proven experience in QA for web applications, mobile applications, e-Commerce platforms, Middleware Services, Integrated Systems, SEO & Analytics, Git
• A strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools and processes
• Experience in automated testing tools and frameworks like PHPUnit, Java and TestNG Framework, Selenium, Codeception, Jmeter
• Basic knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript frameworks, usability, APIs and Database Queries
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Experience in software development and database would be an advantage
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Very good English skills (written and spoken)
• An eye for detail and precision to recognize even pixel-precise deviations from a given design
• Structure, diligence and proactive coordination skills for QA & Testing tasks

Your key responsibilities

• Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive QA strategy that encompasses web applications, e-commerce projects, Headless Apps, Mobile Appys, content staging sites, SEO, performance, and monitoring
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of QA professionals, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement
• Project Management: Collaborate with project managers and development teams to ensure quality is embedded in all stages of project lifecycle
• Testing and Validation: Oversee the creation and execution of detailed test plans, test cases, and testing processes for various projects
• Process Improvement: Continuously assess and improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
• Client Liaison: Work closely with clients to understand their quality expectations and ensure these are met or exceeded
• Performance Monitoring: Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of QA efforts
• Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to quality across projects
• Reporting: Provide regular reports on QA activities, progress, and outcomes to senior management and stakeholders
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest trends and best practices in QA, web technologies, and related fields
• Security and Penetration Testing: Oversee security testing efforts to identify and address vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure
• User Acceptance Testing (UAT): Manage and facilitate UAT to ensure the final product meets client requirements and expectations
• Decision Maker: Ability to take major decisions on critical state of the project and bring solutions
