SECTION III: PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
The role holder is responsible to ensure that products and services meet the established standards set by the company.
SECTION IV: KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES OF THE ROLEQA/QC Functional Responsibilities:
Conduct surveillance and reviews of the quality system, including subcontractors and suppliers where appropriate.Assist the Quality Line Manager in liaising with managers and external organizations on issues relevant to quality and in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System.A proactive approach to improve the quality of work at the site, minimise rework, and demonstrate continual improvement.To assist the organization of phased InspectionsRaise the profile of Quality within the construction team by promoting Best Practice.Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Quality Line Manager in liaising with package managers and external organizations on issues relevant to quality and in the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System.Provision of inspection assistance services to enable the Business
Units to execute works as per Client requirements.To ensure better quality standards of the finished products by consistent monitoring of the process and proper production sequence.Provide support in the assessment and management of subcontractors\' management systems.Ensure the subcontractors are in compliance with their own quality systems.Carry out phased Inspections of preparatory Inspections, initial inspections and follow-up inspections as specified.Ensure all Method Statements and Inspection Test Plans are being progressed as planned.Assist in carrying out audits in accordance with the audit schedule.Monitor close-out of corrective Actions.Prepare Non Conformance Reports and follow-up for close out.To assist in the management all site field tests listed in the specification.Maintain Quality Control records and inspection records.Issue Quality Control reports as specified.Record and report that the necessary training systems of labour are being conducted together with safety and toolbox talks.Check the works in their area of responsibility for compliance with the specifications.Respond to Request for Inspection / Approval in a timely manner.Ensure there are no ambiguities in the agreed standards to be achieved, i.e. workmanship, benchmarks, material samples etc.Maintain good working relationsSeek technical assistance when ambiguities arise.Report non-conformance to responsible person immediately.Regular reporting of progress and performance to line manager and others as instructed.SECTION V: KEY RESULT AREAS

Must have real estate / construction industries experience
