Responsibilities:

• Automation experience in scripting and executing automated tests using Java, Python.
• Knowledge or experience preferred with creating test cases according to standards - manual and automated.
• Knowledge or experience preferred creating test cases, participating in Peer Reviews, modifying test cases based on Peer Review feedback.
• Solid understanding of database concepts, methodologies, and best practices
• Proficiency in SQL and database querying in SQL Server, Oracle Postgres etc.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data testing
• Proficient in performing manual/automation testing of Database and API-based applications with focus on complex scenarios and edge cases, to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Knowledge or experience preferred in automated testing of REST APIs using automated testing framework/tools using one or more of the following tools: Postman, Visual Studios.
• Performing problem-solving and root cause analysis when defects occur.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, team player.
• Strong experience in prioritization, planning, and execution of multiple tasks efficiently.
• Highly adaptive and flexible to a changing environment.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues, defects, and discrepancies, documenting and tracking them to resolution using issue tracking systems.

What We\'re Looking For:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Computer Science, or a related field
• 5 to 9 years of experience in software development and testing, with a focus on data quality testing
• Strong technical proficiency in automation tools and technologies such as Java, Caf\xc3\xa9, Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber etc.
• Strong SQL knowledge, experience with different RDBMS
• Strong Python, Java, SQL skills
• Data pipelines and ETL (e.g. Airflow, AWS Glue)

Nice to have :

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Big Data technologies like Apache Spark (PySpark).
• Familiarity with data warehousing solutions like Redshift or Snowflake.
