1. Take ownership of the product end to end quality through development and continuous improvement/update of test strategy, test plan and test cases as support to the development, sometimes chipping in to develop the code himself/herself
2. Optimize testing process by embedding automation in the software delivery pipeline according to industry best practices
3. Test software releases by executing assigned tests (manual and/or automated)
4. Report/Log Defects and chase resolution
5. Become familiar with the software under test and any other software related to it
6. Participate in product design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
7. Building on and improve existing product and service capabilities by adding new tools and techniques to improve the quality of the products
8. Collaborate with testing experts community internally and externally to share experience and improve industry product and processesMust Have Skills:1. Very good experience in testing web frontend and/or web backend domain
2. Very good experience in API Testing. Knowledge in HTTP (header setting, response codes, )
3. Experience and Knowledge of Testing - Manual and Automation frameworks (Selenium, Jmeter, Cucumber, TestNG, SeeTest)
4. Experience with Load and Performance test scripting and E-2-E automation
5. Knowledge in scripting (bash), Basic Knowledge of SQL/NoSQL DB
6. Experience in Agile (SCRUM/Kanban) teams
7. Knowledge of ticketing system (QA, Jira, Remedy),
8. Excellent communication skills
9. Good experience / exposure in Java Programing, Cloud & CI-CD-CT
10. Hands-on experience on the tools- Eclipse IDE, Maven, Jenkins, Git
11. Experience and Knowledge of Testing - Manual and Automation frameworks (Selenium, Jmeter, Cucumber, Frisby, TestNG)Good to Have Skills:1. Experience in TDD
2. Testing methodologies of black box, white box, system tests
3. Experience on tracing logs.
