We are seeking an experienced, high-energy Senior QA Automation Engineer to join the Customer Test Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have team-leading experience and will utilize proven testing practices to ensure excellence in new CX products. Responsibilities include the use and development of tools and frameworks necessary to support testing and release builds. The Senior QA Automation Engineer will apply technical knowledge, leadership skills, software development methodologies, best test practices, and proven processes to consistently deliver high-quality products in a predictable manner.
Responsibilities:
• Software testing and quality assurance of Global enterprise specializing in Virtual Contact. Center Web applications, working under an Agile software development environment.
• Write & maintain test cases using Selenium in a Java Integrated Development environment.
• Write test cases & create test strategies on Python and JavaScript.
• Review and maintenance of the library with existing test cases.
• Investigate the test failures from the past period.
• Provide technical leadership to design test plans for native cloud applications built-in Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Lead Quality and Automation initiatives across multi-disciplinary teams, coordinating process definition, best practices, and efficient usage of infrastructure.
• Participate in Agile software development initiatives (standup, grooming session, sprint demo, increment planning).
• Work within a geographically distributed team of Dev, UX/UI architects, PdM, RM, and QE.
Qualifications
• 5+ years' experience in the SaaS industry, understanding of the SW development process and testing methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience with Web UI Automation using Selenium.
• Extensive experience in front-end testing of Web-based apps on desktops (Windows, iOS) as well as on iPad/Android tablets, and mobile devices.
• Knowledge of programming techniques and algorithms (OOP, multithreading, script languages such as Javascript or Python).
• Knowledge of Java Integrated Development Environment (Eclipse, InteliJ, etc.).
• Familiarity with SW version control, bug-tracking, and test management systems.
• Proven experience in building, maintaining, and supporting test solutions for enterprise SaaS applications.
• Practical experience with DBMS (MySQL desirable) and API testing.
• Troubleshooting and analytical skills, logs analysis.
• Basic knowledge of Linux.
• CS/EE degree or equivalent with 5+ years of proven related experience.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Solid interpersonal, reliable, and communication skills.
Nice to have:
• GCP cloud platform experience.
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure automation software tools.
• Experience in Test Automation projects for cloud computing solutions (private or public).
• Experience with NoSQL DB like Google Cloud Datastore.
• Experience with security protocols (i.e., OWASP Top Ten, PCI Compliance, and data encryption standards).
• Basic knowledge of VoIP, ISDN, PSTN.
• Experience with high-volume transactional systems.
