Introduction: The role is for a Test Automation Engineer (Manual + Automation Testing) based in Pune with a strong desire to own the delivery of testing for two systems through the testing lifecycle/Agile process, designing, maintaining and executing test cases within project timelines, reporting on test progress, logging /reporting defects, and supporting user acceptance testing. The person will be working closely with the development team in the India and US, so the successful candidate will need to be happy to work until at least 10:30am to 11am ET, and occasionally an hour or so later. What will you be doing Participate/contribute to the business requirement discussion on multiple projects. The QA analyst should feel comfortable to constructively challenge, where required, the projects assumptions and provide proactive recommendations for improvement. Frequently update test status with the lead. Collaborate with business analysts and developers to understand the full impact of the changes and come up with regress test plan. Thorough documentation of the QA test cases and results as test evidence. Contribute to incorporate automation for software testing. Provide support to resolve production issues by reproducing issues in UAT environments. What skill we required Prefer to have hand-on QA automation development experience Skills that will help you in the role: IT Related Bachelor\'s Degree and formal certifications in the languages listed above Experience of CI Solutions/Tools - e.g. GIT, Team City, Maven, subversion Strong knowledge and experience in Java development Good to have experience of developing code using Core Java, XML technologies.
