Job Title: Senior Purchase Executive Industry: Infrastructure & Construction

Job Summary

The Senior Purchase Executive will manage the procurement of materials, equipment, services, and manpower

essential for infrastructure and construction projects. This role involves strategic sourcing, vendor and contractor

management, rate negotiation, and ensuring timely delivery while maintaining cost efficiency and high-quality

standards.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement Planning and Strategy:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet project timelines and budgets.

2. Collaborate with project managers to understand detailed project requirements, including materials,

equipment, and manpower.

Vendor and Contractor Management:

1. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and contractors based on project specifications.

2. Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers.

3. Conduct regular performance evaluations and ensure continuous improvement of suppliers and contractors.

Rate Negotiation and Contract Management:

1. Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and conditions with vendors, contractors, and service providers.

2. Prepare, review, and manage contracts ensuring compliance with legal and company standards.

3. Resolve contractual disputes and manage contract renewals and terminations.

Material and Equipment Procurement:

1. Source and procure materials and equipment required for construction projects.

2. Ensure the quality of materials and equipment meets project specifications and standards.

3. Coordinate with logistics teams to ensure timely delivery to project sites.

Manpower Sourcing:

1. Identify and secure necessary manpower resources, including subcontractors and temporary labour.

2. Negotiate labour rates and terms with manpower suppliers and subcontractors.

3. Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.

Cost Management:

1. Monitor and control procurement budgets, identifying opportunities for cost savings.

2. Implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality or project timelines.

Quality Assurance:

1. Ensure all procured materials, equipment, and services meet required quality standards.

2. Collaborate with quality control teams to address and resolve any quality issues.

Supply Chain Coordination:

1. Manage the logistics and supply chain for materials, equipment, and manpower.

2. Ensure efficient coordination to prevent delays and disruptions in project execution.

Documentation and Reporting:

1. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier performance.

2. Prepare regular reports on procurement status, cost savings, and performance metrics for senior

management.

Compliance and Risk Management:

1. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.

2. Identify and mitigate risks related to procurement, supply chain disruptions, and market fluctuations.

Experience Required: - 7-8 Years in the same industry

Salary Budget - 5 -7 Lakhs

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ?500,000.00 - ?700,000.00 per year

Experience:

• Infrastructure and construction Background: 5 years (Required)
• manpower sourcing,SCM: 5 years (Required)
• Purchasing / Procurement: 7 years (Required)
