What this job involves:

Maintaining smooth site operations

Maintaining a seamless and orderly site operations will be your main agenda every day. In this role, you'll take on various site-related tasks, such as solving site design problems, managing construction works and keeping timesheets and records for reporting purposes.

Aside from these, you'll also see to it that the projects comply with corresponding occupational health and safety legislations, standards and codes of practice. Likewise, you'll prepare and manage the implementation of the Project Management Project Safety Plan.

Are you comfortable facing people on a daily basis? Part of your job is to assemble and lead a team of experts and bring out the best in each member. You'll constantly coordinate with key stakeholders, and manage subcontractors and suppliers. You'll carry out negotiations with contractors and suppliers as well.

Representing the client during the project's stages--from construction to completion--and oversee the processes throughout the projects' duration will also be an important part of your job. Aside from these, you'll also represent and promote JLL throughout the project; and ensure that we meet company profit targets set for the project.

POSITION GOALSTo achieve excellence in preventive maintenance programs at (Client) with highest standards and ensure energy conservation practices;

Assist the Engineer in managing M&E scope of the projects to ensure the quality and deliverables with in the stipulated time;

Assist in providing comprehensive facility, contract and procurement management for technical services to the client;

Contribute to achieving financial and other targets established by the Senior Facilities Manager;

Achieve Key Performance Indicators and Service Level Agreements targets.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEnsure the contractors follow the house rules at all times and the projects are handled with minimum inconvenience to the Client;

Assume AFM responsibilities if need arises;

Responsible to handle the shifts independently on all Engineering related matters;



Reporting:

Responsible for daily reporting on M & E to the Engineer;

Generate Service maintenance reports on office equipment;

Generate Inventory and Purchasing of spares and consumables;

Generate Downtime and breakdown incident reports.

EMPLOYEE SPECIFICATIONS Tertiary qualifications in either Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering essential;

Contract Administration experience of 5 yrs or more desirable;

Very Good people skills and ability to interact with a wide range of client staff and demands;

Knowledge of Occupational Safety requirements;

Strong PC literacy and proven ability to manage daily activities using various systems;

Demonstrated experience with continuous improvement initiatives highly desirable;

Demonstrated experience with client reporting and preparation of reports required.



Diploma or Graduate in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

3 - 5 years experience in facilities management

Proven ability to function effectively as part of a team

Proven ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiatives
