Senior Project Manager, Global TechnologyBangalore/Gurgaon, IndiaThe Corporate Applications Solution Centre is responsible for all business application change, support and maintenance of the platforms used by colleagues working in the following corporate support areas, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Workplace, Finance Operations, Tax, Investments, Actuarial, Marketing and Communications. The Project Management team is responsible for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of projects when changes to these key systems are needed. Delivering complex projects to successful completion in the best interests of the customer. Managing Budget, and risks and ensuring project benefits are delivered. Key interactions with the Analysts, Service Managers, Project Management Team Leaders, Analyst Team Leaders, Business Partners, Business Stakeholders and Resource Managers. You will be managing medium to large-complex Projects based on business needs, which may include discretional transformational Projects/Programs.DISCOVER your opportunityWhat will your essential responsibilities include?\xc2\xb7 Manage complex projects within the framework and governance model in use at AXA XL (both Agile and Waterfall).\xc2\xb7 Comprehensive Project definition, including scope, cost, time, and quality estimates.\xc2\xb7 Build effective project teams and establish excellent working relationships with project stakeholders.\xc2\xb7 Prepare and maintain up-to-date project plans and budget forecasts collaboratively with all key project team members.\xc2\xb7 Effective risk, issue and dependency management, proactively identifying and mitigating items to keep projects on track.\xc2\xb7 Manage scope, including change controls.\xc2\xb7 Mentor and provide guidance to less experienced Project Managers.\xc2\xb7 Initiate improvements to existing Project Management and Governance processes.\xc2\xb7 Establish effective partnership with the Project Management Office.You will report to the Project Management Lead.QualificationsSHARE your talentWe\xe2\x80\x99re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:Required Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Relevant years of experience managing moderate to complex projects \\ programs.\xc2\xb7 Insurance industry or experience driving projects of a technical nature.\xc2\xb7 Ability to provide innovative solutions based on a good understanding of business objectives or technological objectives.Desired Skills and Abilities:\xc2\xb7 Effective problem-solving with a willingness to pursue creative solutions.\xc2\xb7 Experience with benefits-driven change and minimum viable product concepts.\xc2\xb7 Prince 2, SCRUM Master or PMP Certification or equivalent is desirable.\xc2\xb7 Proficient user of project management tools for example MS Project, MS Office Suite, and Financial Tracking.FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and speciality risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
