We have an exciting opportunity in D&A Operations Customer Implementation Management for an experienced customer-focused Senior Project Manager to join our Customer Program Management Team.Customer Program Management execute business changes initiatives for LSEGs key strategic clients. The Senior Project Manager will drive the direction and delivery of assigned, high profile and high-risk projects to achieve strategic objectives, transformational change and revenue growth.The role will work closely across the business and will be expected to engage at a senior level with customer business sponsors, senior stakeholders and project teams across the organisation, such as Sales & Account Management, D&A Operations, Product, Business and Technology.The role will lead complex and large-scale projects that are global in nature through the project lifecycle to ensure delivery that is on time, in budget and within scope. Projects include (but are not limited to) large scale revenue-generating product deployment, product upgrades and migrations.This role is critical to the successful execution of customer projects, with accountability for setting up, managing and delivering on key product migration and competitor displacement projects while acting as the primary contact with the customer and providing proactive leadership in delivering the projects goals. This role will be expected to create and manage project plans along with other documents such as RACI models, RAID, reporting Dashboards etc. The Senior Project Manager will lead cross-functional teams (internal and External) for the duration of the projects and drive performance from these groups to successful project completion.Essential Skills:Demonstrated experience with successful delivery of external customer-facing projects within the financial services industry.Lead the formulation and presentation of project plans, influencing stakeholders to achieve buy-in and sponsorship.Proven track record of delivery in environments with high levels of ambiguity and changes in strategy.Ability to apply best practices in a pragmatic way to achieve timely results aligned with customer and business goals.Must be able to inspire trust, manage expectations, and build confidence with key stakeholders at senior levels including external Customers and Sales leaders.Proactive identification of risks and rigorous contingency planning to minimize disruptions to plansProven track record of defining and agreeing approaches and alternative solutions to solve business and operational challenges.Highly experienced and can demonstrate a full understanding of commercial, technical and service drivers that are used to define and execute project direction.Highly skilled in Meeting Management (Project Kick Off, Stakeholder Meetings, Status Meetings, Change Control, Project Review, Objection Handling).Proven track record of matrix management and managing across different cultures.Willingness to regularly work New York business hours in order to be available to meet (virtually) with customers at their convenience.Desirable Skills:Good understanding of the financial services industry and the key competitors in this space.Project Management or Financial Markets certificationExcellent knowledge of LSEG products (e.g. Workspace, Real Time services)Experience of industry standard CRM systemsHighly skilled with Microsoft Office product suiteSkilled with Project Management and other workflow toolsFamiliarity with Lean Six Sigma and process optimization tools and approachesLSEG is a leading global financial markets infrastructure and data provider.
