Overview The Senior Project Manager will work in the D&A Transformation function, leading complex and large-scale, moderate to high-risk projects across the project lifecycle to ensure delivery that is on time, in budget and within scope. Projects will be within the Sustainable Finance & Investments (SFI) sub-portfolio within D&A. This is an individual contributor role, reporting into the Sub-Portfolio Director for SFI. Key Responsibilities Manages complex, large-scale and/or high-risk projects that involve multiple senior internal and external stakeholders Leads the development of project artifacts, integrated project plans, resource and contingency plans, ensuring they are scoped and documented and that risk management processes are in place Partners with project sponsors/stakeholders to define project objectives, milestones and success criteria and develops status reports to update senior stakeholders on project progress, and gains commitments to ensure corrective actions take place if required Anticipates issues and delays and evaluates trade-offs between project size, complexity, cost, risk etc. effectively assessing and resolving high-priority project risks Leads multiple workstreams and large project teams throughout the project lifecycle delivering results that meet the success parameters stated in the business case Manages the project budget request process and performs regular financial reviews, tracking and measuring financial performance and key metrics against plan and validating financial forecasts Ensures all projects adhere to LSEG Group Standards for project methodology, governance and risk management Required Experience and Expertise Significant experience in project or programme management Uses project management methodologies to manage project resources and activities. Plans, manages and optimizes resources within teams in order to maximize results and achieve desired performance. Prepares and manages business cases or proposals to justify programmes or projects, and identifies, manages and tracks benefits derived from the programmes or projects. Utilizes knowledge of practices and approaches for managing and navigating the organisation to support project/programme objectives. Uses a systematic approach to deal with change, transition or transformation of an organization\'s goals, processes or technologies. Demonstrates a depth of hands-on knowledge of the organization\'s industry and domains. Directs and leads others, coordinating activities and providing encouragement and inspiration to help others succeed. Communicates with clarity and precision, presenting complex information and findings in a concise and simple format that is tailored and understood for the appropriate audiences. Defines a problem, generates solutions, and evaluates and identifies the best solution to overcome the problem. Continuously seeks new ways of working to make processes run smoother and faster. Interacts well with others, quickly establishing rapport building positive relationships and networks. Builds trusting relationships with stakeholders tounderstand their drivers and negotiate positiveoutcomes Manages the relationships with all external third parties Demonstrates the discipline of planning, organizing and managing resources and activities to achieve specified outcomes within a clearly defined timeframe and standards Understands different approaches to project management (e.g. Agile, Waterfall etc.) and ensures flexibility to deliver and execute within different ways of working.
