We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Engineer to lead the planning, execution, and successful completion of large-scale real estate and construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring all engineering activities are executed to meet quality, safety, budget, and time standards. This role is pivotal in managing complex projects, leading engineering teams, and coordinating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality developments on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Leadership & Strategy:
• Lead and oversee all phases of project development from initial planning through to final completion.
• Develop and implement comprehensive project strategies that ensure scope, cost, and timeline are aligned with company goals.
• Act as the key decision-maker in technical and engineering-related matters, ensuring the project's technical integrity.
• Advanced Project Planning & Execution:
• Develop detailed and sophisticated project plans, incorporating timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Lead the coordination between architects, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless execution of construction activities.
• Ensure effective resource management and allocation for large-scale, multi-phase construction projects.
• Site Supervision & Quality Control:
• Lead regular site inspections and audits to monitor progress, enforce quality standards, and ensure adherence to approved project designs and specifications.
• Identify and address technical issues on-site, offering real-time solutions to keep the project on track.
• Ensure all project deliverables meet industry standards and client expectations in terms of quality and compliance.
• Budget Management & Financial Oversight:
• Develop, manage, and control large-scale project budgets, working closely with the finance team to monitor expenses and project costs.
• Oversee cost estimation and procurement activities, ensuring cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.
• Lead financial forecasting, ensuring project profitability and financial risk management.
• Technical Oversight & Innovation:
• Review and approve all technical drawings, blueprints, and project specifications, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Drive innovation in construction methods, materials, and project management processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Stay updated on the latest engineering advancements, integrating new technologies and methodologies into project execution.
• Risk Management & Mitigation:
• Proactively identify potential risks and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, developing mitigation strategies.
• Lead efforts to resolve complex engineering problems, including design changes, to ensure the project remains on schedule and within budget.
• Health & Safety Leadership:
• Ensure strict compliance with safety protocols and internal/external regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA).
• Conduct regular safety audits, enforcing health and safety regulations across all teams and sites.
• Lead safety awareness and training programs to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
• Documentation & Reporting:
• Oversee the preparation and maintenance of accurate project documentation, including daily reports, schedules, budgets, and change logs.
• Provide detailed progress reports to senior management, outlining key milestones, risks, and solutions.
• Ensure all project documentation, including permits, licenses, and inspection records, are current and properly filed.
• Stakeholder Management & Communication:
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and external parties (clients, contractors, regulatory authorities).
• Lead project meetings, presenting status updates, discussing challenges, and proposing solutions to stakeholders.
• Foster strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship:
• Lead, mentor, and train junior engineers, project teams, and site staff, ensuring their professional development.
• Establish a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the engineering team.
• Ensure that all project teams are aligned with project goals and timelines.

Job Requirements:

• Educational Background:
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Professional certifications such as PMP, LEED, or equivalent are a plus.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in a Project Engineer or Senior Project Engineer role, preferably within the real estate or construction sector.
• Proven track record of managing and delivering large-scale, complex construction projects (residential, commercial, industrial) from inception to completion.
• Technical Skills:
• Advanced proficiency in construction management software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong understanding of structural engineering principles, advanced construction methods, and industry standards.
• In-depth knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
• Leadership & Communication Skills:
• Exceptional leadership abilities with a demonstrated history of leading large teams of engineers and construction staff.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to clearly present ideas and solutions to stakeholders.
• Adept at resolving conflicts and motivating teams to meet project goals.
• Project Management Expertise:
• Experience in developing project schedules, managing resources, and controlling costs on large-scale projects.
• Ability to manage multiple teams, stakeholders, and contractors across different project phases.
• Demonstrated ability to handle high-pressure environments and deliver results on time and within budget.
• Problem-Solving & Analytical Skills:
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating technical designs, reviewing performance metrics, and solving complex construction challenges.
• Ability to anticipate and resolve issues before they impact the project timeline or budget.
• Health & Safety Knowledge:
• Comprehensive understanding of safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining safe working environments.
• Experience conducting thorough safety audits and managing compliance with industry standards.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Ability to work on-site in various weather conditions and environments.
• Willingness to work extended hours and weekends to meet project deadlines.
• Physical capability to conduct thorough on-site inspections.
