The Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) is working towards building a healthier India. Project Brief:
National Health Mission (NHM) Madhya Pradesh and PHFI (New Delhi), have undertaken to implement the \xe2\x80\x9cCertificate Courses in Management of Non-communicable diseases like diabetes, Hypertension, COPD and Asthma and other courses in chronic conditions which will be launched in Madhya Pradesh. PHFI will be responsible for the implementation of the overall program for imparting the training to medical officers working in government health facilities (as proposed by NHM, MP). The program will be delivered through trained and eminent Endocrinologists, Cardiologists and Pulmonologists (names will be proposed by State Health Officials) on a once/twice a month modular basis or workshop mode contact program.
The Certificate Course are distinctively designed training program for primary care physicians (MOs)that comprise of study modules with dedicated sessions on designated weekends or suggest. The courses involves a panel of national experts and regional faculty renowned Endocrinologists/diabetologists/Pulmonologist/Medicine specialists of the country. The programs have been implemented in a standardized manner across the state, a total of 4 divisional centre will designated for session conduction and each centre being facilitated by one regional faculty. It is to apprise the physicians with latest developments in the field of these non-communicable diseases and to deal with it more efficiently in their day to day undertakings.
Deliverables:
The Sr. Program Assistant will be responsible for a variety of programme management activities and assist the team in all the components of the program conducted in the framework of interdisciplinary multi-partner collaborations across the state and reports to Dy Director Training.
