Project Brief:

National Health Mission (NHM) Madhya Pradesh and PHFI (New Delhi), have undertaken to implement the \xe2\x80\x9cCertificate Courses in Management of Non-communicable diseases like diabetes, Hypertension, COPD and Asthma and other courses in chronic conditions which will be launched in Madhya Pradesh. PHFI will be responsible for the implementation of the overall program for imparting the training to medical officers working in government health facilities (as proposed by NHM, MP). The program will be delivered through trained and eminent Endocrinologists, Cardiologists and Pulmonologists (names will be proposed by State Health Officials) on a once/twice a month modular basis or workshop mode contact program.

The Certificate Course are distinctively designed training program for primary care physicians (MOs)that comprise of study modules with dedicated sessions on designated weekends or suggest. The courses involves a panel of national experts and regional faculty renowned Endocrinologists/diabetologists/Pulmonologist/Medicine specialists of the country. The programs have been implemented in a standardized manner across the state, a total of 4 divisional centre will designated for session conduction and each centre being facilitated by one regional faculty. It is to apprise the physicians with latest developments in the field of these non-communicable diseases and to deal with it more efficiently in their day to day undertakings.

Deliverables:

The Sr. Program Assistant will be responsible for a variety of programme management activities and assist the team in all the components of the program conducted in the framework of interdisciplinary multi-partner collaborations across the state and reports to Dy Director Training.

  • Coordination of all components of the NHM programme for NCDs conducted in the framework of an interdisciplinary multi-partner collaboration across the state.
  • Play an integral Role in organizing and managing resource intensive National and Regional Level Meetings; this involves human resource and logistical issues.
  • Support overall field operations related to implementation of the program (i.e. invitations, enrolments, regional meetings and workshops, documentation, visit coordination, workshop planning etc.)
  • Prepare and disseminate in-advance micro-plans for regional faculties and participants for perfect conduct of training sessions at regional centres in state with seamless networking for real time coordination and communication between officials.
  • Conduct spot and random checks and monitoring field visits for quality assurance.
  • Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Report on a day-to-day basis to the Dy Director regarding project and seek timely advice wherever necessary.
  • Contribute to writing documentation papers and reports.
  • Draft program progress reports, as well as any other reports as per the requirement of the program or as designated by Dy. Director/Director training.
  • Writing documentation papers and scientific reports.
  • Writing proposal and budgets.
  • Communication for program secretariat to communicate with renowned National Faculty, Regional Training Centres (Faculty and Participants) and Partner Institutions.
  • Coordinating with the partners, sponsors, national and regional faculty and trainees to ensure that critical issues are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain positive professional relationships with key stakeholders and other key agencies and donors as required.
  • Coordinates and prepare for meetings and special events by assisting the team members
  • Coordinate with various vendors for various program activities.
  • Attend and participate in stakeholders meetings, and other meetings as needed.
  • Carry out activities to implement the programme mentioned above.
  • Participants Information Data Entry
  • Manage documentation of all the records related to all the stakeholders
  • Support in dispatch process.
  • Prepare regular programme reports as per guidance of the Supervisor.
  • Travel as required.
  • Any other task as assigned by the senior colleagues of the team & Project PI
Qualification:

Essential:
  • Minimum qualification required is post-graduation from recognized university.
Experience:

Essential:
  • Around 1 years of experience in health sector, fresher may encourage for apply.
  • Any combination of training and or experience, which demonstrate ability to perform these duties, is desirable.
  • Excellent oral and written communication and coordination skills.
  • Proactive, self-motivated individual with willingness to travel at a short notice and work for extended hours and on weekends. Basic computing including Microsoft, excel, ppt.
