We are looking for an experienced Senior Program Manager who will be responsible for the end-to-end management and implementation of the Kilkari programme. Kilkari is being implemented across multiple States/ Union Territories in India with plans of further expansion to other states.
#### Roles & Responsibilities
• Programme management and implementation of activities in accordance with the mission and vision of the organisation.
• Serve as a key point of contact for all types of programmatic assistance.
• Support national programme team in developing annual plans, budget and state advocacy plans.
• Work closely with Regional Managers, core team members and programme team for development of state action plan, implementation of the plan, monitoring and providing regular feedback.
• Provide support with planning, budgeting, and donor reporting activities.
• Represent Kilkari and Mobile Academy in different forums including MoHFW and state NHM meetings.
• Track deliverables of each state and follow-up with the state teams in a timely manner.
• Showcase strong leadership by encouraging and mentoring the state team members.
• Support all functional teams to ensure timely completion of planned activities as per the project work plans.
• Data collection and feedback from the ground to improve the programme design.
• Cross-department coordination and follow-up to support effective programme implementation.
• Support IEC and BCC initiatives.
• Open to frequent travel within the state and to other programme locations.
• Accurate and timely reporting of programme status throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Ensure maintenance of all programme-related documents.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, coordinate activities independently and multi-task.
• Submit field visit report upon completion of every trip.
• Share learnings from the programme with the communications team based on their requirements.
• Work closely with senior Project Director and support him with reports and presentations.
• Resolve issues that come up during project implementation.
• Participate in state level review meetings, and support state program managers in developing review agenda and presentations.
#### Qualification & Skills:
• Master's degree in Social Sciences, Humanities or Public Health preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
• Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
• Ability able to read and interpret data/documents, and communicate information effectively with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in conducting capacity building sessions with state level officials, district and block officials, and frontline health workers.
• Strong training and facilitation skills with an emphasis on use of innovative ways to impart trainings.
• Proficient in MS Office and social media.
