  • You will have the opportunity to work on an award-winning product which is redefining Anti Money Laundering controls using an advanced machine learning model which was created in collaboration with Google and is now deployed to many HSBC markets across the globe.
  • We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Product Owner to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for leveraging technology to drive business outcomes, strong background in Agile methodologies with experience in Value Stream models. The successful candidate will have exposure to Google Cloud, familiarity with Machine Learning concepts, and a proven track record of effectively managing product lifecycles.
What you\xe2\x80\x99ll do:Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities
  • Product Vision: Develop a clear, compelling vision that aligns with business goals and user needs, articulating it effectively to stakeholders and the team.
  • Stakeholder Management: Engage with senior stakeholders to gather requirements, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with strategic goals.
  • Product Roadmap: Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap for your pod, prioritizing features and initiatives based on business value and market trends. Define and prioritize product features using the Value Stream model, ensuring optimal value delivery through each iteration
  • Agile champion: Masterfully lead product owner responsibilities within an Agile Scrum framework, ensuring transparency, collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Value Stream Management: Utilize Value Stream mapping techniques to identify bottlenecks, optimize workflows, and streamline the product development process.
  • Release Management: Coordinate with development teams to plan and execute product releases, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with release milestones. Changes affecting system integrity, availability and operation are reviewed, challenged as necessary and approved in a timely manner
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and experimentation to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Champion the value stream: Implement the Value Stream model effectively, prioritizing and managing product features within the AML/Financial Crime domain to maximize value delivery for each iteration.
  • Stay ahead of the curve: Continuously learn and adapt to emerging trends and technologies, proactively seeking opportunities to improve the product.
RequirementsWhat you will need to succeed in the role:
  • Strong experience in product management or related roles, with a focus on Agile methodologies
  • Strong understanding of Value Stream mapping techniques and principles
  • Working knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and development cycles
  • Experience with Google Cloud platform and cloud-based technologies. (preferred)
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills
  • Proven ability to rapidly develop matter expertise in a range of technical and non-technical areas.
  • Working experience on Jira and confluence
  • Proven track record of delivering successful products in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent certification preferred
