In the Process Department we work on basic engineering projects and modular units projects development for our customers. We are in the process of building a core team to follow and develop this activity in India.


For this core team, we are looking for a Senior Process Engineer attached to the Process Global Shared Solutions Head of Department. You will be located in Axens Global Engineering & Execution Centre at Mumbai in India

Assigned to projects involving different technologies (refining, petrochemicals, biofuels and renewables) within the Process Group, you will be involved into international projects and quickly supervising activities of Axens process engineers.



Your main activities will be:

• - Supervise and manage the Process team work on license or module projects,
• - Participation in the development of Process Books in designing the equipment and preparing the specifications for Vessels, Pumps, Heat Exchangers, Air Coolers and Heaters)
• - Develop thermal rating of heat exchange equipment (heat exchangers and air coolers),
• - Train Process Engineers and develop coaching/trainings for them,
• - Coordinate the activities with other departments (Drafting, Engineering, Project...),
• - Projects follow-up with D.E.C / E.P.C including engineering documents review,
• - Participate to client meetings (PFD and P&ID review, HAZOP, SIL Review, 3D model Review, etc.).
• - Opportunity to participate in start-up of units on special assignments with the Technical Service Department

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE

• - Master's Degree or a higher equivalent in chemical or process engineering
• - You have at least 4 years of experience within an engineering company or within the refining, petrochemical or gas industry or within chemical or biochemical industries.
• - Successful experience of team management on project,
• - You are experienced in Process basic and/or detail engineering tasks, such as:
• Process Modeling using chemical engineering softwares (Pro II, Hysys, etc),
• Equipment specification (pumps, compressors, drums, etc),
• Process flow diagrams, Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID),
• Thermal rating (using HTRI software),
• Process control and Safety.
• - An experience on units operations support would be a plus.
• - A fluent level of English is mandatory, other language(s) appreciated.
• - Curious and open-minded, you are motivated in working in an international environment,
• - You are agile in working in collaborative organizations, and multi-cultural company.
